Brot is a single-board FPGA-based microcontroller designed to plug into a breadboard or act as an embedded system. Brot comes programmed with an example SoC (System-on-a-Chip) containing a RISC-V processor that lets you use the open-source GCC toolchain to develop applications in C and C++. The SoC can be easily replaced with custom gateware that can be built using open-source FPGA development tools.

Brot is available in vertical, horizontal and headerless configurations.
